What’s a Thunk?

There are several definitions of the word “thunk” - these are our favorites:

A thunk can refer to a simple question about everyday things that can help people look at the world from a new perspective. 

A thunk is a value that is yet to be evaluated.

 

What kind of designs will you release in the future?

We don’t sit down and think we need a T-shirt with a specific theme, relying more on a whatever's clever approach. So you can expect designs with anything from philosophical ideas to absurd wordplay. We’ll certainly have designs celebrating classic films and pop culture, but also clever puns and pickleball!

That’s one reason why we always want customers to come back and check out new batches - there will always be something different. So be sure to add your email to our mailing list! It’ll be fun! 

Do special orders upset us?

Not really.  If you’d like to request a Think a Thunk design in a color that is not offered, or in a more fitted or boxy style shirt, let us know and we’ll see if we can set it up.

What are my payment options?

We accept major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Shop Pay. All payments are processed securely through our encrypted checkout system.

How to track my order?

Tracking information is automatically sent to your email address once your order ships. This typically occurs within 2-3 business days after ordering. Don't see your tracking email? Check your spam folder first, then email notion@thinkathunk.com with your order number for an update.

How do I cancel or change my order?

If you need to cancel or change your order let us know as soon as you can by emailing notion@thinkathunk.com!

Cancellation may not be possible if the order has already entered the production process.

What is your Refund & Exchange Policy?

Return & Exchange Policy

At Think a Thunk, we create every item specifically for you the moment you order it. If you are not satisfied please let us know notion@thinkathunk.com.

Our return process depends on the reason for your request:

1. Damaged, Defective, or Misprinted Items

If your item arrives with a printing error, physical defect, or damage, we offer a 100% replacement or refund within 30 days of delivery.

  • How to fix it: Simply email us at notion@thinkathunk.com with a clear photo of the damage and your order number.
  • Do not ship it back at this time: In most cases, you do not need to return the defective item. We will handle the replacement process immediately.

2. Size or Color Exchanges Because each item is custom-printed specifically for your order, we encourage you to use our provided Size Charts to ensure a perfect fit before purchasing.

However, if an exchange is necessary, we offer a 30-day exchange window:

  • Customer Responsibility: You are responsible for the cost of shipping the original, unworn item back to our studio.
  • Our Commitment: Once we receive and inspect your return, we will process a one-time replacement order at no additional production cost to you.
  • Limits: To maintain our sustainability goals and minimize waste, exchanges are limited to one per order.

3. Non-Returnable Items

Because our items are custom-printed for you, we cannot accept returns for a simple refund (unless the item is defective). We also cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

4. Refunds (If Applicable)

If a refund is approved (for damaged items), it will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days. If more than 15 business days have passed since approval, please reach out to us.

How long does the delivery take?

Each order is printed individually and then shipped. This will take a little more time than you might be used to from the e-commerce giants with their own planes and stuff.

Please give us 7-10 days to get your order out the door and into your hands. If you need an item for a specific occasion please keep this in mind and get your order in early.

Do you offer free shipping?

We are currently offering a free shipping promotion through the end of March! You do not need any code, free shipping will be applied at check out.

When there is not a promotion being offered, there will be a flat shipping rate of $3.00 per item. This way we share the shipping costs.

Do you ship overseas?

We ship to all addresses within the continental United States (the lower 48 states). If you're located in Alaska, Hawaii, or outside the US, we're not able to fulfill orders to your location yet, but we're actively working on expanding our shipping reach.
